All measured and calculated parameters are accessible through RS232 port to a
computer.

- The battery pack is inside the instrument case.
- The unit will operate on AC power if it is available. It also charges the battery.
The
calibrator operates from the internal battery source when AC power is not
available.
- The battery pack consists of 7.2 V, 2.2 Ah size batteries, 6 each of C size
batteries (1.2v)
in series. Battery type, NiCad.
- A separate battery supervisor circuit is responsible for charging the battery,
switching over
from AC to battery, the full charge indicator and the low battery detector.
- The operating time on the battery is greater than 6 hours.
- The recharge time is 8 hours.
- The battery life is 2 years.
