The Deployable National Radiation Monitoring System (DNRMS) is a multifunctional state-of-the-art emergency response system that can be easily and quickly deployed anywhere in the world.  The entire system can be shipped by common carrier using the included shipping containers.  Once at the remote site, the system can be easily setup by one or two people in less than 20 minutes. The system is capable of local operation and remote operation via various communication options.  For example, a system can be in Las Vegas, NV and a user can operate that system from Montgomery, AL.

The DNRMS implements technologically advanced high and low volume air sampling systems, a Genitron Gamma Tracer doserate monitoring system, GPS and a comprehensive meteorological station.

All instruments are connected to the multifunction Datalogger and controller which acts as the DNRMS central nervous system. It can control each attached instrument completely.  It can start and stop both air samplers at the same time or independently of one another.  The controller collects and stores the data and can transmit that data at user-selectable intervals or upon demand to anywhere in the world using a variety of communication options including satellite phone.  Data downloads can also be accomplished locally via PDA or laptop computer.

The DNRMS can be utilized on a short term or long term monitoring basis.
